Controls

• Steer: drag the joystick at the bottom left. Release and the rider holds that line.
• Fire: tap the FIRE button, or hold it to auto-fire at your weapon's cooldown.
• Swap weapons: tap the weapon dial or the SWAP chip. The badge shows remaining ammo.
• Jump: the green JUMP button clears any obstacle. It has a short cooldown ring.
• Power (phase): the purple button spends one charge; you glow and pass through everything for three seconds.
• 360 trick: while airborne, push the joystick fully left or right.

Weapon tiers

Each weapon can only destroy obstacles at or below its tier. The gold aim marker only appears over things your current weapon can actually break.

• Tier 1 — Slingshot (unlimited ammo): bullseyes, crates, gongs
• Tier 2 — Revolver, Bow: adds snowmen and explosive barrels
• Tier 3 — Cannon: adds ice blockers and log barricades
• Tier 4 — Rocket launcher: destroys everything, including trees and boulders

Ammo is deliberately scarce. Collect the snowball ammo packs on the slope to restock.

Common questions

I keep crashing early — is the course unfair?

No. Every hazard row is generated with at least one clear lane that is reachable from where you already are. If you crashed, a passable line existed — but you have to steer to it. Difficulty also adapts to your recent runs, so it eases off if you are struggling.

My scores are not appearing on the leaderboard.

Open iOS Settings → Games → Game Center and make sure you are signed in, then restart the app. Scores earned while signed out are saved locally but cannot be ranked retroactively.

How do I unlock the last two songs?

Open THE BAND from the main menu, navigate to a locked track and press the centre button of the click wheel to unlock it with coins you have earned. You can also buy them from the in-game Store. Once unlocked they stay unlocked.

The app looks blank or stutters when it first opens.

The first launch decodes the 3D assets, which is why a loading screen with a progress bar appears. Later launches are much faster. If the app ever behaves oddly, force-quit and reopen it; your progress is saved after every run.

How do I turn off the music or sound effects?

Tap the settings icon on the main menu (or open Settings from the in-game pause screen). You can toggle music, sound effects and haptics independently, and adjust steering sensitivity.

How do I reset my progress?

Delete the app and reinstall it. All progress is stored locally on your device, so this clears everything, including coins, levels and unlocked songs.
